Inga Vanston is a photographer and film producer whose work explores geometry, light, scale, and human presence within the built environment. Her photographs often inhabit what she calls the "charged void" - moments when architecture becomes abstract, psychological, and unexpectedly intimate.
Her photographs explore the relationship between built space and human presence, finding abstraction and tension in places across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. Vanston's work has been selected for the 76th A•ONE Exhibition at Silvermine Arts Center in New Canaan, Connecticut.
Vanston brings a producer’s eye for space, structure, and narrative to her photography, drawing on an extensive background in film and an ongoing producing partnership with director Ilya Naishuller.
